CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of CIPS) are following the current guidance from the UK Government and the World Health Organisation and as such this event will be taking place as planned. Our priority during this time is the safety of our event attendees and our teams, and we will continue to closely monitor the development of the COVID-19/Coronavirus and any potential impact on our event.

Head of Procurement, The Salvation Army
Andrew Roper is Head of Procurement at The Salvation Army, he has been responsible for designing and building the central procurement department from its inception 4 years ago. He has previous experience of working in Procurement in both the public and private sectors, namely for the NHS, Canon and NTT. He is passionate about the benefits professional procurement can bring to the charity sector and the positive impact it can have on the people the Salvation Army serves. As well exploring how we can use our procurement spend to do good, through reducing our environmental impacts, supporting social enterprises and raising awareness of the issues of modern slavery and labour violations in supply chains.
