CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of CIPS) are following the current guidance from the UK Government and the World Health Organisation and as such this event will be taking place as planned. Our priority during this time is the safety of our event attendees and our teams, and we will continue to closely monitor the development of the COVID-19/Coronavirus and any potential impact on our event.

Cristian Martin


Head of Procurement, London School of Economics/Political Science
Cristian has worked in procurement since 2001 holding senior roles since 2008 in both the private and public sector organisations. He holds a masters degree in strategic procurement management, a fellow of the chartered management institute and is MCIPS chartered. He currently works for the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as their head of procurement, he is on the executive committee for the London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) that is owned and run for University and not for profit members in London. He is Chair of the responsible procurement advisory group for LUPC. Cristian’s research dissertation was on responsible procurement in the higher education sector. As part of research Cristian came across the Modern Slavery issue and has continued to support LSE and LUPC in advancing that agenda.
